Nightcore - Runaway
this is my first nightcore song i felt was good enough for youtube. i have played around with some music the past couple of days. if you could pls listen to my remix and come with some constructive criticism. with this song i only altered pitch and tempo because i felt i would destroy the integrity with too many effects.
so heres the song/remix :3 http://youtu.be/tLoFx_8u5p0

Ok about your song.. Sound quality is good, the song itself is not my favorite but still liking it. There's good balance with pitch and tempo so it sounds natural to me. Pretty good job with first video overall :)
Also, what program are you using for music? And what kind of effects you can apply to your songs? Just curious to know :)

I'm using audacity right now i am planning to move to something more advanced later
As for effects there are: Amplify, BassBoost, Change Pitch, Change Speed, Change Tempo,Click Removal, Compressor, Echo, Equalization, Fade In, Fade Out, FFT Filter, Invert Noise Removal, Normalize, Nyquist Prompt, Phaser, Repeat, Reverse, Wahwah
And thanks for the positive response :D

Re: Nightcore - Runaway
Ok i started with audacity myself, usually the problem was low sound quality on songs i made (that's why changed to FL studio). Checked once all the effects in audacity and only ones i ended up using were normalize, bass boost and change pitch/speed/tempo .
But anyways keep posting more your songs in future :)

Re: Nightcore - Runaway
Nightcore doesn't require all of those effects, just the speed and pitch edit.

Re: Nightcore - Runaway
I know it's not required but it can create more depth in a rather dull song :DKestrel0907 wrote:Nightcore doesn't require all of those effects, just the speed and pitch edit.

Re: Nightcore - Runaway
Tempo is the same as speed as i've personally raised it in FL Studio.XxEvilLizardxX wrote:I thought it was Tempo and Pitch...Kestrel0907 wrote:Nightcore doesn't require all of those effects, just the speed and pitch edit.
There are also some musical theory with aggravato, fast(or how is it called) and others like low speed and etc.
You can also consult a dictionary:

Or the wiki:

Re: Nightcore - Runaway
Yeah you're right Kestrel but in audacity speed is both tempo + pitch :)

I actually thought it was quite "happy", but after your post i can now see it isn't that "happy" lol :D
Re: Nightcore - Runaway
Yeah I'm not sure why but to me it just doesn't have that overly "Happy" charisma that most Nightcore has but that doesn't make it a bad song or anything, just different, which is okay :) So you made this song yourself correct? Cuz that's awesome :D I'm glad to see a new Nightcore artist :Dluciferi93 wrote:Thanks :3Monster wrote:Cool song!
