For rock music i'd have to say ether Tool, A Perfect Circle or Puscifer.
Well i don't know if one can classify tool, APC or Puscifer as rock. I would say maybe spiritual... if you will.

Look for (The Fibonacci in Lateralus) on youtube you have seen it befor. I once read a MTV article with James Maynard in it and he said he classifies ther music as an experience or mood.

There was a time when rock music was one of the most popular music category of world.But now it has become a little bit odd due to stupid mix ups with other music genre by some non professional and non trained singers.So let me tell you one thing that keep this always in mind that just promote those who are doing the best work.

I have a HUGE set of bands for rock, from Avenged Sevenfold to Shinedown, and pretty much everything in between.
Yes, I like an unholy combination of rock AND trance. If both could be in one song I would squeal with happiness.
