Thanks/Exalt or smite

I was just wondering... since you can help people with things here, would it be good or bad with a kind of thanking system.

Like, under the profile picture/post it was a button for thanking , if you liked what he/she helped you with or uploaded for you, etc. (Or a Exalt / smite system, then you can demote people aswell. But since it has demoting in it, it could be abused and just demote people randomly if it's a douche doing it.)

Seems like the Karma button we had on old forum" However, I don't really see how this could improve the forum >> If the guy just post something unrelated (unless it's in Game forum) he'll jsut get warned (and eventually banned if it continues) due to spamming.

How about not having a demote?
Just have thanks and the more thanks they get, the more higher rank they are..

Have leaderboards and stuff too ^.^

Thing is, stuf like that could bring to spamming since some people wouldn't be able to resist haveing mroe points, no matter what (remember our spam contest on last forum...?)

Ok, never got used to the old forum to notice that. Well it could be good so people see who to trust and who that has done something good enough to be thanked for. My opinion.

That sounds right about what I meant too. (if you reamove the smite button nd that)

I can't (or rather decided not to) mod the forums until Alpha is finished with the theme which is why I haven't been doing anything.

However, this wasn't really used at all in the past forums. I think we can do without it.
