Have you heard of the animes Initial D and Wangan Midnight?

Initial D follows 18-year-old Takumi Fujiwara, a tofu delivery boy working for his family business. He drives a Toyota Ae86, and races other drivers down windy roads in the mountains of Japan.

Wangan Midnight follows a high schooler named Akio Asakura, who one day finds an insanely fast Nissan 240Z. Akio buys the Z and races it down a Japanese highway known as the Wangan. There's one catch though. The Z is known as the Devil's Z, and is cursed. Everyone who owned that Z has gotten into a severe accident.
