How about adding these to important events?:

Mid 2011 - Original Nightcore group re-emerges on the internet, Nightcore's Facebook is created.

Early 2012 - nightcore.net is created

Forgot to mention it only includes events that cause (massive) search volume rise. They will be included in other timeline. (History of Nightcore on the Internet, maybe?)

So I believe it is originally written for a student newspaper who also write for newsweek.pl's blog and it counts as (the only) nightcore news.

One change I notice is Regional interest. The last 100% Regional interest is Singapore or Australia, now it is Vietnam.

lol I din't know that in poland nightcore is famous :P maybe people are just afraid to say it face to face that they like speed/pitch up dance songs with an anime girl xd

Sorry for the necropost but I just had to come back to this after seeing the recent Google trends. It's quite interesting that although nightcore originated in Norway, yet is very popular in Southeast Asia. As of February 2019, the top countries are places like Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand. By contrast, Norway has a relatively low search interest value. Hell, I don't think I've ever come across a nightcore Youtube channel from Norway.

This phenomenon, where something gets more popular in another country than in its country of origin, is actually known as Big in Japan on Wikipedia and Germans Love David Hasselhoff on TV Tropes.

In this case, I guess you could say nightcore (both the original duo and the music style) are Big in Vietnam.
