A thread to record how producers think of their songs in Nightcore. The comments are mostly positive. It makes sense as otherwise the video won't be able to remain on YouTube.

Negative
Sonic Flash Records, *this is a summary* "Taking another person's music and increasing the pitch is offensive to the songwriter, the producer, and the singer! Next time you're going to make someone's voice sound ridiculously like "The Smurfs": or take their creation for that kind of "music rape"..."
Tronix DJ
One of the first producer who first shows positive view towards fan-made nightcore. Comments can be seen in DJFistonEdit and Maikel6311's nightcores.
DCX
Sped up (and pitch up) is nothing new to DCX who came from rave / happy hardcore background. After Trance-Flying High (named as Dj Splash speed remix in their album Flying High (Remixes)) went viral and users commenting 'this is nightcore', DCX has released 9 official (Nightcore Version) and (Nightcore Speed Mix) of their own songs since 2013, even they are slower and lower pitched compare to common nightcore.
SkyMarshall Arts
reupload Back in Time [Nightcore VII] in his official channel, writes "Not really a remix, just a speedy mix of the original. Still fun :)" in video description

Why would I? The nightcore audience is different from the Hands up fans. This just means more people will be able to hear my work. :)

hahaha man this a funny thing to do to my track,It sounds weird to me to listen to it so speeded up!but I am glad you could have fun with it!
emilemil1 | Nightcore 7 months ago
Oh wow it's the man himself!
Yeah, it will probably always sound funny to the producers since they've obviously already made the tracks just the way they want them to be ^^ And the original is super awesome! Thanks for letting me have a little fun with it =D

The video would be nothing without the amazing song, so many thanks right back at you (and Diven) for making it!
Sonic Flash Records then released their own nightcore releases
Sends copyright strikes to everyone who uploaded their songs, 'Taking another person's music and increasing the pitch is offensive to the songwriter, the producer, and the singer!'
Reported bt Nightcure. The songs is Nightcore - Bittersweet Encounters Sonic Flash Records (not sure if it was the artist talking to me or not) *this is a summary* Taking another person's music and increasing the pitch is offensive to the songwriter, the producer, and the singer! Next time you're going to make someone's voice sound ridiculously like "The Smurfs": or take their creation for that kind of "music rape"...~
I'm surprised at Skyrosphere's comment, especially seeing how they belong to a label that doesn't want their music shared.
Anyway:
Lowcash shared on Facebook and said: Always funny those nightcore versions!
QUESTION OF THE DAY: Is faster better ?
and
Damn-R commented:
you know your song is a hit when it's "nightcored" :)
Lowcash: and there have been many nightcores ;)
Massive Project: Always funny to be 'nightcored' :D
Mark Reihill: Thanks for this!

AlejZ: *can't find the exact comment* The original song was by Cc.K. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, as you can see, there have been some good comments and some bad comments. Some of the original artists leave a like on my videos, too.
I feel the need to leave my world, to discover some other place.
I'll add that RGMusic Records isn't your typical label. The vast majority of the people who produce for them are people who primarily produce for fun, giving their tracks away for free on SoundCloud. Even the label name is nonstandard, being short for "Robert G. Music Records" (Robert G. being the founder). So I do believe that they are more about artist promotion, with monetary income being secondary, which would explain why they support our videos :)
