Question! Double Nightcore!
I've been searching and have no results regarding the title Double Nightcore
Basically what I'm searching is a Nightcore video, Nightcored again, or in this case speed edited by another 25%
I tried doing one and it didn't really sounded that bad. So I've been wondering, is this legit?

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
Why speed up the song 2 times by 25% each when you can just speed it up once for 50% ?
50% would be way too fast anyway, Nightcore is not ambient music :)
Basic definition of Nightcore is a EDM song sped up once which should be around 170 BPM, just a few top 220 BPM. If you make it any faster afterwards it will probably sounds way too fast to be enjoyable.

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
I see, so should my genre tag be SpeedEdited Nightcore?
Because I really want to upload this, it sounds pretty okay for a double.

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
I have no problem calling this Nightcore as long as it's a EDM song and it fits the Nightcore genre.

Let's say someone nightcore a song and the end results is 160 BPM and you nightcore that song to 180 BPM, it would be the same thing as you taking the original song and nightcoring it to 180 BPM, thus making it your own remix.
I'm curious as to what BPM the resulting song is at.

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
Wait I reviewed it a little and stuff
Is "Welcome to the club" considered Nightcore?
I can't really seem to understand these genres @_@

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
I'm clocking it at 246 BPM lol but it doesn't as bad as I thought it would be.
There's no specific definition as to what's the maximum BPM a nightcore song should be. It's never been discussed before. The original Nightcore group was around 170 so real nightcore should be around this.
However like I said, we do have just a few songs at 220 BPM and we call it nightcore. I guess yours at 246 could also be called nightcore since I kind of enjoy listening to it.
p.s. yes welcome to the club is a EDM song, it's dance, it is considered nightcore and is a very popular nightcore song.

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
Btw the pinned Nightcore explanation didn't really explained it to me. Or should I say I can't understand much. I do know bits here and there though.
Also, how did you clock the BPM?
I'm planning on more.. erm.. Double Nightcores for awhile. So I wanna gather as much info as I can :P

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
I calculated 41 beats in 10 seconds, just multiply by 6 and it gave me 246.
BPM detection in software is wrong in most cases, doing it manually is better.

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
start a timer and count the beats (the bass), do it when there's a lot of it cuz sometimes there's just vocals and no beats
for more accuracy do it for 30 seconds, I just did it for 10 seconds on yours, its going too fast for me to calculate properly if more than 10 seconds lol

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
Thanks for the links.
Understood a little more
Though I wouldn't say "Evolving"
More like running into another direction? Unsure.

Re: Question! Double Nightcore!
consider the common sped up % is 25%, so double nightcore would be 1.25*1.25=1.5625
One example of "double nightcore"
Provenzano DJ - Anima Libera (Feat. Emi)
140 BPM
Provenzano DJ - Anima Libera (Feat. Emi) (DJ Raaban Remix)
178.54 BPM sped up 27.52%, effectively a nightcore song already
From DJ Raaban Remix, we have two version of nightcore
uploaded in 2011, 196.38 BPM, sped up 10% from DJ Raaban Remix, 40% compare to the original
uploaded in 2009, 214.32 BPM, sped up 20% from DJ Raaban Remix, 53% compare to the original
For the sake of speeding up ever more
273.9 BPM
videos in memory :P
