They have since day one. Otherwise people like Paul Oakenfold, Paul van dyk, Tiesto, etc would have all been sued by the people who own the music they were playing.

I should point out that DJ mixes are protected internationally. So do not sell one song, do however sell your mixes. Assuming you're doing more than starting and stopping songs.

It did! I can go back to the original songs and figure out the bpm, as for the hollow sound in welcome to the club, is there anything in the effects drop down in virtual dj pro that can brighten up the sound? it sounds like it's inside a box playing.

True. But honestly, it's been that way ever since the "John Peel is not enough" radio special that Hixxy and Sharkey did. So some of the originators are to blame for it's current state, although this new sound is mostly Australian. that being said, I'll take hardcore over terrorcore any day.
