It's not easy picking from hundreds of my favorite artists, but DJ Satomi probably one of my favorite artists ever. He made the song Castle in the Sky which one of the most amazing songs I’ve ever heard. I also love his song Nuclear Sun and his remix of Sound of my Dreams.
